Kim M. Keenan, a distinguished litigator and President of the DC Bar, has joined The McCammon Group, a leading provider of mediation and arbitration services in the mid-Atlantic. 

Ms. Keenan has extensive experience in medical malpractice, personal injury, product liability, and general commercial matters including construction, contracts, corporate disputes, defamation, employment, and employment discrimination.  She is the Principal of The Keenan Law Firm located in Washington, DC.

She is a past President of the National Bar Association and the Washington Bar Association.  She has served as the Treasurer of the Bar Association of the District of Columbia, as a Chair of the National Diversity Committee of the American Lung Association, and as a Vice Chair on the Board of Trustees for the University of the District of Columbia.  She has been a Senior Adjunct Faculty at George Washington University Law Center since 1999. 

Ms. Keenan is a recipient of the Professional Legal Excellence Award from the Maryland Bar Foundation in 2005 and the “Woman Lawyer of the Year” award from the Women’s Bar Association of the District of Columbia in 2007.    She has been recognized as a Washington DC Super Lawyer since 2007 and was listed as a “Top Lawyer” by Washingtonian Magazine in 2007. 

Ms. Keenan will continue her law practice with The Keenan Law Firm, but now also lends her expertise to The McCammon Group as she serves the mediation, arbitration, and ADR needs of lawyers and litigants throughout the United States and abroad.
