Charles R. Work, a distinguished litigator and former President of the DC Bar, has joined The McCammon Group, a leading dispute resolution firm in the mid-Atlantic.

Mr. Work’s extensive experience in commercial disputes includes employment, professional liability, intellectual property, patents, copyright & trademark, class actions, contracts, securities, and government affairs at every level of the judicial system and in many federal agencies. He is Senior Counsel with McDermott Will & Emery and a former Partner-in-Charge of its DC office, and global Head of its Litigation Department and the Regulation & Government Affairs Department. Mr. Work is a former General Counsel for both the American Electronics Association and the Intellectual Property Owners Associations.

He is a past recipient of the Rockefeller Public Service Award, and has been recognized in every edition of The Best Lawyers in America since 1995. Mr. Work was recognized as one of the 30 “visionaries” featured in the Legal Times 30th Anniversary Issue who have “stretched practices and built firms and companies…and helped to turn Washington’s legal and lobbying community into an international powerhouse.”

Mr. Work will continue his law practice with McDermott Will & Emery, but now also lends his expertise to The McCammon Group as he serves the mediation, arbitration, and special master needs of lawyers and litigants throughout the United States and abroad.
