Hon. Joan Zeldon (Ret.) Joins The McCammon Group

The Honorable Joan Zeldon, retired Presiding Judge of the Civil Division of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, has joined The McCammon Group, a leading provider of mediation, arbitration, private judging, and special master services in the mid-Atlantic region.

Judge Zeldon served the Superior Court of the District of Columbia with distinction for more than 21 years. Her judicial career began as an Associate Judge and she served as the Deputy Presiding Judge and then as the Presiding Judge of the Civil Division. She was a Member of the Drafting Committees for the Uniform Mediation Act and the Revised Uniform Arbitration Act. During her time on the bench, she conducted hundreds of mediations. She retired in January after handling a wide variety of cases, including complex civil and family law matters.

Judge Zeldon is a graduate of Smith College and New York University School of Law. Since 1995 The McCammon Group has provided alternative dispute resolution services (ADR) including mediation, arbitration, neutral evaluation, Special Master, and private judging for all kinds of disputes; as well as related facilitation, training, and consulting services.
