Walter A. Stosch
Senator Walter Stosch is a mediator, facilitator and trainer in
addition to being an outstanding businessman, public servant and
professional accountant. His areas of expertise include partnership
disputes, intellectual property issues, business valuations, merger
and acquisition issues, buy-sell agreements, stockholder and business
disputes, equitable distribution, local government matters and utility
agreements.
Senator Stosch stands as one of the most respected public figures
in Virginia. He currently serves as the Senate Majority Leader in
the Virginia General Assembly as well as Chairman of the Senate
General Laws Committee. He has been a Member of the Virginia General
Assembly since 1983 when he first served in the House of Delegates.
During that time, Senator Stosch has honed his skills facilitating
disputes and debates among competing interests.
Currently Senator Stosch is a Principal Consultant with Stosch,
Dacey & George, P.C. He was previously a partner of the national
CPA firm, Deloitte. He is a licensed Certified Public Accountant
and a Certified Valuation Analyst.
Senator Stosch is a well-known lecturer and educator. He served
as an adjunct faculty member at the University of Richmond for several
years teaching managerial accounting and managerial cost accounting.
Senator Stosch received his undergraduate degree in accounting
and his MBA from the University of Richmond.
