Areas of Experience

Lexi Wolfe brings more than a decade of experience providing conflict resolution, organizational ombuds, and early dispute resolution services across federal agencies, nonprofits, and the private sector. She has supported leaders, teams, and employees in addressing concerns early and improving organizational effectiveness and resilience.

Most recently, Lexi served as Acting Director of the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of the Ombudsman after five years as an Associate Ombudsman. In these roles, she advised leadership on systemic concerns, coached employees and managers, and facilitated sensitive conversations to help teams adapt during organizational change. Previously, she served as an Ombudsman Specialist at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), providing conflict resolution support to one of the nation’s largest and most geographically dispersed federal workforces.

At the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Lexi helped launch and manage the agency’s Conflict Resolution Center, delivering mediation, facilitation, coaching, group assessments, training, and change management support. Earlier in her career, she worked in management consulting, supporting private sector and nonprofit clients in addressing complex organizational challenges.

She holds a Master of Science in Negotiation & Conflict Resolution from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Lexi is a Certified Organizational Ombuds Practitioner (CO-OP®) through the International Ombuds Association (IOA) and an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF).
