Jacqueline Villafañe, Psy.D., is a seasoned executive coach, organizational ombuds, and leadership development strategist with over two decades of experience across corporate, nonprofit, higher ed, health and government sectors. Her expertise includes talent optimization, conflict resolution, organizational change, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She works with individuals, teams, and systems to drive growth, navigate complexity, and align strategy with impact.
Jacqueline has served as an Organizational Ombuds, providing a confidential, impartial, and informal resource for staff at all levels to surface concerns, resolve conflict, and promote ethical workplace practices. She integrates ombuds principles with her broader work in executive coaching and organizational development to build healthy, high-performing cultures.
Her leadership includes directing national development programs, managing cross-functional initiatives, and advising executives across international contexts. She has designed and implemented sustainable conflict resolution and performance improvement strategies that elevate both individual and organization outcomes. Jacqueline’s frontline crisis experiences in disaster relief environments, working with global teams, leadership support, and workforce care—has shaped her adaptive, complex system-awareness approach to team dynamics and resilience in high-pressure environments.
A certified Change Management Practitioner (Prosci), Action Learning Coach (WIAL), Organizational Ombuds Practitioner (CO-OP) and trained mediator, she is also a skilled facilitator who helps organizations create mission-aligned strategic plans, identify priorities, and develop metrics for success. She has held international board roles and currently a board member for the International Ombuds Association (IOA). Jacqueline served as an adjunct professor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and Faculty for George Washington University’s Center of Excellence and frequently consults across all industries.
Her work has been published in professional journals, The Organizational Ombuds: Foundations, Fundamentals & It’s Future textbook, and podcast on Complex Conflict Environments. She is widely recognized for her thought leadership in coaching, conflict management, and inclusive leadership and professional development.
