When we first began our work in 1995, lawyers were, understandably, skeptical. Mediation was new to all of us. Some people were so unfamiliar with the term that they often confused it with “meditation.” We had a long road ahead of us.

As of today, The McCammon Group has handled more than 25,000 cases with outcomes (settlements in mediation and awards in arbitration) totaling more than Nine Billion Dollars. In addition, this work has produced non-monetary results which, though not subject to measurement, are in many cases more important than the financial results.

In response to the onset of the Covid-19 Pandemic, we began conducting mediations and arbitrations remotely within a matter of days. These efforts demonstrated that these processes, even when executed remotely, can be effective in these unprecedented circumstances.
